Background:
ArcelorMittal is the world’s leading integrated steel and mining company. The corporate website is the main source for information and media communications.
I was to create an online corporate reporting platform stemming from the main website that can be the template for all future ArcelorMittal Annual Reviews. Using the existing brand aesthetic, I created several concepts that the final design is based on. It has proved to be very successful and has been much appreciated by the client and helped to improve the brand image.
Design:
This new design uses branded video content on the homepage that focuses on the varied market sectors, manufacturing processes, social responsibility and the people who are the true strength of the company.
Concepts:
This version used existing brand imagery to represent the content. It is clean and clear and moved the brand’s aesthetic forward. However, I wanted a design that was also more dynamic.
This led me to create the final version (see slideshow) that used specific video clips to represent the company’s industry sectors and manufacturing processes.

Outcome:
The design succeeded in achieving the goals of the brief and has set the template for all future online corporate reporting needs. This design was used for several years and has only now been replaced due to the changing nature of the client.
