Background:
The annual European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) event held in Vienna. The Novartis exhibition stand had a media wall intended to provide talking points and rich media content for delegates to explore, including video and interactive infographics.

Initially, I was to design the interactive screen content for a Social Media wall. However, to me the brief needed to be expanded; you need content for people to comment upon otherwise there is no reason to have a social media wall. I added more information that would lead people engage with it more; thus increase the possibility of using the social media functionality. Also, the narrative that is shown is the same regardless of which direction you walk in from; both external screens (left and right) have the same content that leads you to the middle screen where the social media interaction points are.

Outcome:
The experience proved to be very good at attracting delegates to interact with the content and to choose to engage with the Social Media platform, thus achieving the expanded brief. Novartis was very pleased with this approach which helped to create a more dynamic approach to future briefs.
