Background:
The Good Clothes Show is a three-day fashion event taking place at the NEC Birmingham in September 2024. It represents a range of ventures from small start ups to larger established brands and works in collaboration with thought leaders and change makers who share a vision of a more sustainable, fair and inclusive fashion industry, and have the courage and passion to lead that change.
The main focus of the website is to sell tickets to the public and assist existing and prospective exhibitors. The news/blog section gives a platform for positive discussion by introducing the expert panel and an opportunity to discover topics and read a variety of editorial content about sustainable fashion.

Design:
The overall art direction was inspired by editorial design style fashion magazines. I like the free form aesthetic of this style and thought it would make a good starting point for the website design. However, adapting this style for an event website could be problematic if not done in a clear and balanced way.

Outcome:
The website has been well received and has achieved a huge boost in ticket sales. New news/blog content is being added on a regular basis and the number of exhibitor applications has exceed the available spaces within the hall at the NEC Birmingham.
The website has given a platform for smaller brands and industry consultants to spread the message about sustainable fashion and how consumers have the power to make a positive environmental and socially conscious impact.
